Default 65 gal display

Thank to Ed skill im able to put together a 65 gal display tank in my bed room. This will keep me happy untill the new house finish and that when i go big and be done with it. Total water Volume it is 100 gallon with a 40gal sump.

Tank Spec.
2 Mp 40 vortech Gen 2 one for wave and the other one for Flow.
36 LED light by Cree with dimmer and 4 36 inch T5.
200 reef otopus brand new thank to Josh aka Hoss
Mag 9 for return
Apex Controller
Calcium reactor
Kalk reactor as RO top off

It is a zeovit tank.
Here is the fish
My Power Blue i hope he will be happy going to a smaller tank.
Pair of Hawaian Flame wrass
Mated Pair of Picasso clown
Pair of Yaha hasa Goby
Pair of Fire Shrimp
Pair of Cleaner shrimp

This tank is 90 % SPS and 10% LPS

!00g reeftank w/ 40g acrylic fuge, h&s skimmer, 2- 250w Icecap mh pendant w/14k phoenix bulbs.
30g rimless reeftank(suppose to have been a cool frag tank) w/20g acrylic fuge, cheapy skimmer(needs replacement, but works for now), Solaris I5 24" LED.

Dude I cant wait to get my led's put together and running. Tank looks good! Keep posting updates of the corals with growth and color.

Hopefully I can get my dimmers and controllers by this weekend, if not it'll be next weekend.
How high are your led's from the surface?

I got to see this tank on Sunday........the LED's are very cool and the layout is awesome. I am seriously considering upgrading to LED's....but still doing on the research and reading before jumping in.

hey do i get any credit for this 2 days work of putting the leds together???


oh and Josh just do it!! leds are the goodies! put it this way tommy hates zoas before i got him into leds and now he's a zoa fanatic!! without leds zoas look like crap...

Man you are right about Zoa ugly without LED> Just order 3G worth of LED for my Big tank. Get ready Wayne LOL. Before my only concern about LED that is will it still giving me the grow on SPS. But indeed you prove me wrong since i have no reason to get back into Metal Halide again.


My 65gal currently using a Kalk reactor and Calcium Reactor as the same time. SPS really take off under this LED.
