"August meeting replaced by BOD meeting".

The BOD has decided to not hold a General meeting in August. The reasoning is that due to the low attendance in the summer months, August being the worst, it would be unfair to ask someone to put the effort to prepare and present a topic for what would likely be an empty room.

However we will be holding the BOD meeting on the same day as the August General meeting would normally have been held. This was done to encourage all Premium members who wanted to attend the August general meeting to instead attend the BOD meeting.

The meeting will occur at El Fenix off of Webb Chapel and 635 on Saturday, August 13th, at 4pm.

Might not be alot of people showing up as dfwmas summer social is the same day with Scott Fellman as the guest speaker. Not sure if bod wants to reschedule the meeting

We understand DFWMAS has their calender events. We don't plan our calender around their calender except for the frag swap as there would be conflict for the vendors to participate in both venues. If you are a member of DFWMAS and attend their social, it is understandable. We are doing this, because both July and August are historically low attendance months due to vacations and summer activities. We hope to see you at our BOD meeting, because it is quite an eye opener for a member to see there is actually business that has to be done to keep a club going. It is good experience also for any member who might be considering running next May for a BOD position to see this workings of a BOD meeting.
