whats the difference between the w and the non w? I havent been in the hobby for a while and I am curious.

Ok update: I think I figured it out. Its wireless now? Man you get out of the hobby for a year and there is all kinds of new stuff.

yea its wireless but it's probably not the wireless your thinking about... its still wired but you can wirelessly sync 2 or more units together... so 2 units can work together and make like a push pull system
