Default Rice Reactor for our reefs?????

I have been following this thread on RC.

http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh....php?t=1874551

There does seem to be some data to support these claims.

Pretty interesting.

After you use it in the tank you could make some sushi. It would already be salty so you would not need soy sauce.

I am trying to think of the last time I saw biopellets or rice floating in the ocean. LOL.

I do like the concept and it is always exciting to see/read subject matter experts trade challenges or banter and mix that in with a manufacturer and it makes for some good reality TV.

Like the others, I will tag along and see where it goes. We need more natural additives.

At the end of the day, will just doing proper water changes on a regular schedule keep your values equivalent to sea water or are we striving for better than sea water parameters?

Very interesting.. I am will follow this cthread... I have been doing the NP biopellets for about 4 weeks now. I started mine during the recovery portion of my partial tank collapse so I am not sure of the benefits of the biopellets. My macro algae is growing just as fast as it was before though and I have a diatom bloom in the display tank, so I am not to satisfied so far.
