Most of the bigger LFS will carry copepods... I don't get over to your side of town all too often, but you're a lot closer to Frank's Tanks then I am... But I'd call to see if he has them before heading over...
But, IMHO one of the better ways to get a population of critters like this is to get some macro algae from a fellow aquarist. Invariably, some of that macro algae would have an abundance of life clinging to it already... |

just get a handful of cheato and shake it around... plenty of people give away free cheato.. but if you shake it tons of copepods will fly off... basically like serk said..
What is your purpose of buying pods anyways? I know your just getting back into the hobby but if your trying to boost your new tank then get someones old skimmer poop and dump it into your tank and it'll boost bacteria alot.. helps better then anything i can think of with cycling if that is what your purpose is with the pods.. |

pods are also needed if you want to keep most dragonets(mandarin goby) or pipe fish, thats all they will eat.

yea i realize that... but still i have 2 very fat mandarians in a 54 corner and they dont need copepod supplementation..
